Anglo Platinum the world’s biggest platinum miner, yesterday unveiled three empowerment deals to put R35 bn of its assets under the direct control of black South Africans and introduce new players to the local platinum sector.  The deals will boost AngloPlat’s empowerment credentials after it faced criticism from the government to move faster on bringing black players on board.
